Danielle Bijou, MHC-LP

Danielle Bijou is a therapist at Continuum in Brooklyn, NY, who helps people feel like themselves again. She works with young adults growing into who they want to be, and with new and expecting mothers navigating the changes of motherhood.

With young adults, Danielle works toward real growth: knowing what they want, trusting their own decisions, building healthier relationships, and having the confidence to reach their potential. With new and expecting mothers, she helps clients move through postpartum anxiety and depression, adjust to the changes motherhood brings, and feel steady, connected and capable in their new role.

Her approach combines psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Clients come to understand how past experiences shape the patterns they live with today, and leave sessions with practical tools they can use right away. Over time, they gain a clearer sense of who they are, stronger relationships, and lasting self-confidence.

Danielle holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and a master's degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness, both from New York University (NYU). She sees clients in person in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and online throughout New York State.
